The latest addition to Norwegian Cruise Lines’ fleet of cruise ships is scheduled to begin sailing from Port of Miami in mid-November, 2015.
Construction of the Norwegian Escape is nearing completion. It was recently “floated out” at the Meyer Werft shipyards in Germany. There’s still some additional work to be done before the new vessel begins sea trials in Europe on September 16th.
Once in Miami, the Escape is scheduled to make regular 7-night cruises to the Eastern Caribbean, with ports of call in St. Thomas, Tortola, and Nassau. The first departure from Miami is November 14, 2015.
The Escape will feature the largest water park at sea, the first Margaritaville at sea, and an on board version of Miami’s famous Tobacco Road blues bar. On board entertainment includes productions of Broadway musicals “Million Dollar Quartet” and “After Midnight.”
