Three days or three nights? The terminology used for cruise lengths can be confusing. What most people think of as a 3 day cruise is better described as a 3-night cruise. You’ll spend three nights aboard the ship and have two days at destinations. The amount of time you’ll spend on the ship on the first and last days of the cruise depend on the ship’s departure and arrival times. Cruises to the Bahamas usually depart Miami in the late afternoon and arrive back in Miami in the early morning.
