Six Empress of the Seas cruises from Miami have been cancelled due to delayed ship renovations. The Empress of the Seas, the smallest and oldest ship in Royal Caribbean’s active fleet, is currently in dry dock undergoing extensive renovations. Those renovations where scheduled to be completed in time for the ship to begin regular cruises from Miami on March 30th. However, renovation delays caused the cruise line to announce on March 18th that the ship’s March 30, and April, 4, 7, 11, 16, and 21 cruises have been cancelled. Continue reading

MSC Partners With Chef Roy Yamaguchi On Seaside Restaurant
MSC’s new Seaside cruise ship, which is to begin sailing from Miami in December of 2017 will feature a restaurant by celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi. Yamaguchi is a Japanese-American chef from Hawaii who has hosted his own television series, “Hawaii Cooks With Roy Yamaguchi” for six years. Continue reading
Norwegian Escape and Getaway Will Sail From Miami for Fall/Winter Season of 2017/18
Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced information about some of their 2017 – 2018 Fall/Winter cruise schedules, and two Miami-based ships were included in the scheduling update.
The Norwegian Escape will continue its current regular schedule of weekly Saturday departures from Miami for 7-day cruises to the Eastern Caribbean. Ports of call for these popular sailings include St. Thomas, U.S.Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Nassau, the Bahamas. Continue reading
