Norwegian Sky 4-Night Cruises to Cuba & the Bahamas

Norwegian Cruise Line has extended their schedule of 4-Night Cuba cruises with weekly Monday departures through December of this year.  The first Norwegian Sky cruise to Cuba from Miami departs May 1, 2017. The four-night voyages include an overnight stay in Havana, Cuba and a stop at Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas).  The stay in Cuba includes opportunities for passengers to participate in “people-to-people” cultural exchanges, which are a requirement placed on the cruises by United States regulations governing travel to Cuba. NCL Plans Upgrades to Their Private Island Experiences

caribbean-beachNorwegian Cruise Line is making plans for improvements to the line’s privately-owned destinations including the development of a resort-style experience at Harvest Caye, in Belize. This private island port of call feature an exclusive beach with a lagoon for water sports, a large pool, and private cabanas.

Improvements are also planned for the line’s private island in the Bahamas, Great Stirrup Cay. NCL hasn’t announced details of what they have in store for Great Stirrup Cay, but private spaces, luxury relaxation areas, multiple food and beverage outlets and interactive activities have been hinted at in NCL press releases. Free Beverages on Norwegian Sky, Starting in 2016

Sky_shipNorwegian Cruise Line has announced that an Ultimate Beverage Package will be provided at not extra charge for all sailing of the Norwegian Sky,beginning January 1st, 2016.

The Ultimate Beverage Package includes spirits, cocktails, bottled beer, draft beer, and wines by the glass, up to and including $15 (beverages over $15 will receive a $15 discount), and unlimited fountain soda and juices, at all bars, lounges, and restaurants, and on Stirrup Cay. A 20% discount will be applied to all bottles of wine purchased on board. Continue reading
