We supposed you could argue about whether the Kimpton EPIC Hotel is deserving of the “epic” in its name, but we do know that it consistently receives excellent reviews from previous guests. Located at the corner of Brickell Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard Way, many of the rooms have great views of the bay. This downtown hotel is a big one, with 411 guest rooms and suites, plus on-site dining at Area 31 and Zuma, great spa and fitness facilities, meeting space and the Metropolis Ballroom which can seat up to 300 wedding guests.
If you’re looking for a place to stay before or after a cruise out of the port of Miami, this is one of the most conveniently located downtown hotel options, less than two miles from the port.
Getting There
This Kimpton hotel is pretty easy to get to, regardless of your preferred mode of transportation. It’s less than a mile from the downtown exits off I-95 and about two blocks east of the closest station on Miami’s “Metromover” transit system. Miami International Airport is about eight miles northwest of the hotel.
