MSC Cruises has announced that they plan to add a third ship to their fleet sailing from Miami. The ship will be part of their new Meraviglia Class and is expected to arrive in Miami in 2019.
MSC currently operates one cruise ship out of Miami, the Divina. The brand new MSC Seaside will begin sailing from Miami in December of this year.
The new Meraviglia Class ships will be MSC’s largest, with a capacity for 4,500 passengers at double occupancy.
The addition of a third ship home ported in Miami will help solidify the European-based MSC Cruise’s efforts to break into the Caribbean cruise market and to establish themselves as a recognized brand in the American cruise market.
