Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Star moves around a lot. The ship doesn’t stay in one port for long, but catch the Star while in Miami and you can choose from a variety of unique itineraries.
Although the Star does sail a few 7-night Caribbean cruises from Miami, its niche is the longer one-way cruise.
The Norwegian Star has six Pacific Coastal cruises scheduled from Miami December 2017 – February 2019. These two-week one-way cruises from Miami to Los Angeles cross the Panama Canal and have West Coast ports of call not often included in cruises from Miami, such as Acapulco and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Another cruise option aboard the Norwegian Star is a 14 night Transatlantic sailing to Barcelona Spain in April of 2018. This one-way cruise includes several ports of call in Portugal and Spain.
The Norwegian Star was refurbished in 2015, including a ship-wide refresh with new carpets and upholstery, plus several new additions to the ship’s restaurants and lounges.
