Spring 2015 Repositioning Cruises from Miami

stampThere are several repositioning cruises departing from Miami this spring.  These one-way sailings can be good deals and a nice change of pace from the normal round-trip Caribbean cruise offerings from Miami.  Some of these cross the Atlantic to Europe. Others go through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean. You can take the Norwegian Pearl all the way from Miami to Alaska!

The first ships to make their spring departures from Miami are Costa Cruises’ Mediterranea and Luminosa. Both ships depart Miami for Italy in late March.  The Mediterranea’s voyage includes ports of call in St. Maarten, the Canary Island, Gibraltar, Marseilles, Greece, Croatia, and Italy.  The cruise aboard the Luminosa has ports of call in the British Virgin Island, Antigua, St. Maaren, the Canary Island, Spain, and Italy.

Next to depart is the Celebrity Reflection, which is also bound for Italy. The Reflection departs Miami on April 11 with ports of call in the Canary Islands, Spain and Italy. At just 16 nights, this is one of the shorter repositioning cruises.  The Celebrity Eclipse departs later in the month, with a 16 night voyage to London England leaving on April 21.

The Norwegian Pearl departs Miami on April 16 to head to her summer cruising location in Alaska. Cruisers have the option of booking a 16 night cruise to Los Angeles, a 21 night cruise to Vancouver, or a grand 31 night cruise that goes all the way to Alaska, cruises the inland waterway, and then returns to Seattle.

The Norwegian Epic also has a fairly long repositioning cruise from Miami, but its destination is Barcelona, Spain.  You can sign up for an 11 day Transatlantic cruise from Miami to Barcelona, Spain or a 14 night cruise that sails on to the Mediterranean before returning to Barcelona.

The Norwegian Star departs Miami on April 27 for a 23 night cruise to Stockholm Sweden. Ports of call along the way include Ponta Delgada in the Azores, Dover in England, Amerstdam, Capenhagen, Berlin, St. Petersburg in Russia, and Helsinki in Finland. You have the option of making this a 14 night cruise from Miami to Copenhagen, Denmark or a 23 night cruise all the way through to Stockholm, Sweden.

And last to depart from Miami this spring is the Disney Wonder, which sets sail on May 1 for a 14 night cruise to San Diego, California. This cruise passes through the Panama Canal and ports of call along the way to California include Cozumel, Mexico, Cartagena, Columbia, Puerto Vallarto, Mexico, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
