According to a press release issued by the Port of Miami, the south Florida cruise terminal broke a world record in fiscal year 2014, with 4.77 million passengers on multiple day cruises. An additional 167,000 passengers sailed from the Port of Miami on daily cruises. This rather impressive number of cruisers sailed aboard the 32 ships that operated from Port of Miami in 2014. Helping to boost the year’s cruise totals were the addition of Norwegian Cruise Line’s new Norwegian Getaway and MSC’s Divina to the fleet of ships sailing from Miami. Continue reading
