According to a 12/08/15 Miami Today report, Miami County Commissioners have approved an extended agreement with MSC Cruises that include the cruise line’s expansion of operation from PortMiami. The Italian cruise line already operates from Miami. Their MSC Divina will sail from Miami year-round this year, and they’ve announced that the MSC Seaside, which is currently still under construction, will also sail exclusively from Miami beginning in December of 2017. Disney Cruise Line recently announced their early 2017 cruise itineraries, which include continued regular sailings from Miami to the Bahamas. The Disney Magic is scheduled to continue to sail Miami departures to the Bahamas through March 31, 2017. There will also be a limited number of five-night Western Caribbean cruises available.
