The MSC Divina returned to the Port of Miami last week and it looks like she’ll be sticking around for awhile. Last summer, MSC shifted the Divina from Miami to the Mediterranean, but now the Geneva-based cruise line says that they have a renewed commitment to the North American cruise market and will sail the Divina from Miami year-round.
A few changes have been made to the ship to better serve this market. New shows and entertainment have been added, casino games have been upgraded, and new activities for families and children have been added. A change that should fill the desires of the North American market while still fitting the cruise line’s Mediterranean flair is the addition of a wine experience that provides tastings (and shopping) from boutique wineries.

MSC has also announced that they will add a new ship to their Miami fleet in December of 2017. The MSC Seaside is currently under construction in Italy. The Seaside with be a large ship, with capacity for 5,127 passengers. Seaside cruises will open for bookings on December 15th of this year.
