While the largest number of Disney cruises from Florida depart a little farther north at Port Canaveral, they maintain a smaller presence at other US ports, including Miami. If you’re looking for a cruise from Miami in April, Disney Cruise Line is an option.
Disney Miami Cruises to The Bahamas
Most of Disney’s cruises departing from Miami are of the 4- and 5-night variety, making trips to the islands of The Bahamas. There are five of these scheduled for April.
4-night cruises to The Bahamas aboard Disney Magic begin on April 7th and April 21st. These extended weekend cruises (Thursday to Monday) visit Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay.
The slightly longer 5-day cruises may be of particular interest of those who consider themselves Castaway Cay Lovers. Departing on Monday April 11th, Saturday April 16th and Monday April 25th, the itinerary includes two stops at Castaway Cay with a visit to Nassau in between.
Longer Caribbean Cruises
Disney is offering two 5-day cruises from Miami in April. On April 2nd, Disney Magic begins a 5-night western Caribbean voyage that includes visits to Disney’s Castaway Cay Island (in The Bahamas) and Cozumel, Mexico.
Magic will be making another 5-night western Caribbean trip starting on April 30th. This Saturday-Thursday cruise will also visit Castaway Cay but replaces Cozumel with a stop at Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands.
